Contrite (Spooky Tune Jam 2023 Entry)

I ran out of time so bad. But it is what it is. Mix is still pretty out there, but people should get the general idea. Jam was fun but I wish I had done better scheduling.

About "Contrite":

My goal was to create a melodic yet dramatic piece, blending a massive choir with a distorted guitar, a first time for me. I envisioned the Boss as a human turned monster from prolonged existence in a nightmarish dream state haunted by past deeds. The Boss fight occurs in a surreal landscape where reality and horror merge. I initially tried a traditional orchestral percussion setup but found it lacked the necessary momentum and punch. The composition includes all elements like the intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, second verse, and outro. I hope you enjoy it!
